Went in on a whim as I was passing through for lunch. It’s got a chill, pubby vibe—great for a casual hangout, but seemed like it had a bit more to offer. Always love a spot that has Guinness in Tap too. The Buffalo Chicken Dip was pretty solid and I thought the garlic knots were a nice touch. Went with the Mulberry Burger which was exactly what I was hoping it would be. Overall, Better than average. It's the kind of place I’d go back next time I'm in the area.

Fantastic spot for after work drinks but what really surprised me what their brunch offerings. Was incredibly impressed by my BEC my plate was clean. Bartenders were extremely friendly as well l. Can’t wait to go back for more definitely will stop by next time in Philly

Went during sips (menu posted). The food was good - we got the calamari and cheese curds. The Cucumber Melon Cooler cocktail seemed fresh and light. I’m not sure I’d order the drink again just based on personal preferences. I’d be interested to return and try the regular menu.

I hosted a birthday party for thirty guests on a Saturday in the semi-private section at The Mulberry, and it was truly the best event experience I’ve ever had. From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. Brynn, the event coordinator, was incredibly attentive throughout the entire planning process. After researching over 20 venues in Philadelphia, The Mulberry stood out immediately thanks to Brynn’s responsiveness and transparency. She clearly laid out all the details—what I was getting, what I was paying for—and made the entire process seamless. I was able to plan and coordinate everything virtually, which made things even easier. In just two weeks, I booked the space, finalized the guest count, and placed a catering order. When I arrived, the setup was exactly as discussed. The food was amazing, and I highly recommend using their in-house catering option if it’s available. They were also very clear about the bar minimum—once we hit it, we were able to switch to a cash bar, which worked perfectly for my guests. Our server, Amaya, was outstanding. She made sure everyone had drinks, food, and everything they needed. Thanks to her and the team, I didn’t have to worry about a thing during the party. It ran smoothly from start to finish. We had the space for three hours on a Saturday night, and there were absolutely no issues. The staff was kind, professional, and accommodating—even letting us stay a bit past our end time to clean up, say our goodbyes, and gather our belongings without feeling rushed. We were allowed to bring our own cake, and while we couldn’t bring in many decorations, the semi-private space was already beautifully styled and felt festive and special just as it was. At the end of the night, payment was straightforward. I received an itemized invoice with a clear breakdown of all charges—no surprises at all. If you’re looking to host a birthday party, happy hour, or any special occasion, I highly recommend booking the semi-private area at The Mulberry. You won’t be disappointed!

The Mulberry is a wonderful, upscale, tavern-feeling bar and restaurant in the heart of Philly. Great beer, great cocktails, and delicious food. Servers and service are exceptional, and the atmosphere is prime. You’ll enjoy your visit here every time. Edit: 3.8.25 - staff and atmosphere have only improved over the years. Drinks are expertly crafted, food is Michelin quality, and the identity of the restaurant has really solidified itself as a must-visit in Philadelphia. Food recommendations: cheesesteak (yes, seriously), chicken sandwich, and fried cauliflower. Drinks: espresso mar-Tiffany and old fashioned.
